OUR PROCESS

If your outdoor space is in need of some love....

Please reach out! Regardless of your space and budget, we'll work with you to find solutions that cater to your specific needs. We understand that the process can be overwhelming, but we will do our best to make it as easy as possible for you. This is what you can expect once you reach out to Good-Natured Landscapes:

  • Consultation: We will schedule a consultation with you to give us the opportunity to get eyes on the scope of your project. This is also an opportunity for you to share your dreams, wishes, concerns and questions with us. At this time, we will also need to understand your budget range.

  • Measurements: Depending on the scope of your project and the services that you want to move forward with, we'll coordinate a time to come back on site to take measurements.

  • Design: We highly recommend that you opt for the design service,  as this will help you to visualize the possibilities of your space and make decisions related to your project much easier for you. If you want to move forward with our design service, we'll put a design contract in place. Taking COVID into consideration, this process is carried out virtually. Our design software allows for us to create 3D still images and video walkthroughs of your design, which can be shared via email or video calls. Below is an example of a 3D design video walkthrough:

  • Quote & Service Contract: Once you're satisfied with the design, we'll calculate the costs and share this with you in the form of a service contract. Once we receive your signed service contract and deposit, we will schedule your project in our calendar.

  • Installation: Depending on your project, the process usually starts with the demolition of your existing landscape and related structures. If applicable, soil and drainage will then be addressed, followed by hardscape/irrigation/lighting and plants. The final phases of the installation typically involve installing material applicable to the planting areas (i.e. mulch, pebbles, DG, etc.) and lastly, clean-up. If anything comes up that is out of scope from the original service contract, we will update these adjustments as a change order and apply these changes to the final invoice.

  • Final Walkthrough: Once the installation process is complete, we will take you through the project and address any questions or concerns that you may have. We'll also use this as an opportunity to educate you on any specific items that are relevant to your project (i.e. irrigation controller, plant care, etc.).

  • Final Invoice: We'll send you the final invoice for your project once all above mentioned phases are completed.

  • Garden Care: If you're interested in routine maintenance for your new garden, we will work with you to develop a plan that makes sense for your space and budget.
